We’ve had usually cold weather since Christmas. While we usually get a cold snap in mid January, this has been a bit extreme. High temperatures in the single digits or negative degrees and windy! We have spent a lot of time snuggling around the woodstove and generally hibernating. I think this was the perfect time for the cold snap since Christmas just past and a good rest was needed. The forecast is calling for even colder weather at the end of this week, with a low of – 22F without wind chill!
I hope everyone stays warm!

Your hat is very pretty. I love knitting cables. It’s cold here in Texas too but we don’t have ice coming through the windows. Your fire place looks so cozy and inviting. What are you reading?

So cold! I love your stove; someday I’m hoping to replace one of ours (we have two) with a glass front one for that cozy atmosphere. Beautiful knitting!
